Omneon Logs
There are three types of logs on a Spectrum system. The first and most useful are called System logs or 'Syslogs' which appear on the Spectrum filesystem in fs0/omDXNNNNN/logs where X is the type of director (D2, 4, 8, 9, 11, 12) and NNNNN is the last five digits of the serial number. These logs cannot be adjusted for maximum size. There is a maximum number of logs stored but I can't remember what the number is. It is relatively high and so may mean the log covering the issue is still present.
The second are Director logs which appear on the system manager in D:\omneon\manager\omdb\ and start with DIR. Again, these logs cannot be adjusted for maximum size. A maximum of ten logs are stored before they are overwritten/cycled. The third type are PC logs, and they require monitor.exe to be running somewhere and logging to be enabled. These logs can be adjusted for maximum size in the monitor configuration. These can store a maximum of 20 logs, adjustable from 10 to 20.
